HIFA2015 – Healthcare Information For All by 2015.

beta (experimental)

“Bodhi” is novel vision of Nidan to make primary health publications and literature on the web available in our native language, Nepali. We want to collect and aggregate freely available audio, images and video related to primary health into one web address that can be easily accessed by public health professionals and other people in Nepal. By doing this, we want to consolidate the available materials required for primary health awareness  and then distribute it freely for all. Team Nidan will also put its effort into making new materials and publications. We want to work on this by following in the footsteps set by HIFA2015 – Healthcare Information For All by 2015.

We hope to work with multiple partners at the local and regional levels to compile this database. Team Nidan invites anyone and everyone to contribute to HIFA2015 and “Bodhi”.

——-

Bodhi (Sanskrit: बोधि; and Pali) in Buddhism is the understanding possessed by a Buddha regarding the nature of things. It is traditionally translated into English with the word ‘enlightenment’ and literally means awakened. Bodhi is knowledge into the causal mechanism by which beings incarnate into material form and experience suffering. Although its most common usage is in the context of Buddhism, bodhi is also present as a concept in other Indian philosophies and traditions. (information from wikipedia)
